It takes all of us working together to make progress on some of the most daunting issues in our community! Here are four ways to get involved:

Give your time, your talent, and/or your financial gift

Advocate for a person, a cause, a community issue

Volunteer for an hour, a Saturday, or ongoing

Plan a service project for your civic group, church, youth group, or family.

Stuff the Bus 2024
Imagine a child starting the first day of school without school supplies or a backpack. This is the circumstance for many of the children in Finney County. Several community agencies, churches, and businesses collaborate to collect and distribute backpacks and school supplies to students in need. Last year, we donated over 2,000! If you would like to help us again next year, we have many opportunities available. You can:

Sponsor the event with a monetary donation.

Host a school supply drive at your church or business.

Volunteer at one of our collection sites.

Volunteer to sort supplies, organize, and/or stuff bags before our distribution event.

Volunteer on distribution day in July to hand out backpacks filled with school supplies.

You can make change happen with your voice. Get informed, tell your friends, or write a letter to the editor. We need people who are passionate about education, income, and health to make some noise.

Your donation is an easy and effective way to have a powerful impact in Finney County and its needs. You can direct your donation to one of our funded partners, where it will go directly to that nonprofit, to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, or to the community fund where it will be invested to help with the most pressing needs.
